I went to Target this morning to find the Halloween stuff was 75% off! This is the time to stock up on decorations or costumes for next year and to be looking for things that you could use year-round.
I saved $235.69 (with sales and coupons) and spent $35.15!
Here is what I bought:
HALLOWEEN STUFF
1 Bag of Dum Dum Pops – Reg. $2.49 – 75% off =$.62 cents
1 Sugar Cookie mix with ghost cookie cutter – Reg. $4.99 – 75% off = $1.24
(You don’t have to make them ghost shaped! So I can make these for another occasion this fall!)
3 bags of Skittles Fun Size Mix (90 pieces, 30 oz) – Reg. $6.99 – 75% off = $1.74 each
Use $1/1 Target coupon = .74 cents each
My husband is a high school teacher and these will be the perfect treats for his students.
(I had forgotten my Target coupons at home, so I just printed them from the Wedding Registry kiosk in the front of the store! To do that, click on Target Web site, scroll to the bottom of the page, click on “Grocery Coupons” and select the coupons you want and click “print”! Saves you paper and ink!)
18 bags of Hershey Kisses (Halloween colored wrapping, 18.5 oz bag) – $1.19 each
Use $1/1 coupon from 9/27 Smart Source to get these for $.19 cents each!
I have not the slightest idea what I’m going to do with 18 bags of hershey kisses, but I couldn’t pass it up for only $3.42 for all 18 bags. Anyone have any good recipes that I could use these kisses in? Thanks for your ideas!
2 bags of Quaker granola bars (Halloween packaging) = .62 cents each
Bought two bags for $1.24 and used $1/2 coupon from the inside of a Quaker oatmeal box = .24 cents for 2 bags
2 Halloween Spooky Castles filled with 18 snack packs (chips) = Reg. $4.99 each – 75% = $1.25 each
These are the kinds of things that aren’t Halloween themed inside – just the packaging – so cheap snacks.
2 Halloween kids board books – 75% off priced at $1.79 and $1.57 each
Fall wreath (orange, black and white) – Reg. $29.99 – 75% off = $7.50
This is a splurge! I really liked it and I knew that it would be gone if I tried to wait for 90% off, so I bought it, I’ll be so excited to put it up next year.
2 boxes of Hefty One-Zip bags 75% off = $.74 cents each – $.20 cent coupons = $.54 cents each
I think there might be $1 coupons out for these – making them FREE, but I didn’t have any with me.
Puffs 2-pack of tissues Reg. $2.99 – 75% off = $.74 cents
I didn’t have any coupons, but 2 boxes of tissues for .74 cents isn’t that bad.
Spiderweb decorations, Reg. $2.99 – 75% off = $.74 cents
Light-up Pumpkin decoration, Reg. $4.99 – 75% off = $1.24 each
2 Halloween/fall themed baskets, Reg. $9.99 – 75% off = $2.24 each
These aren’t Halloween themed, they just have leaves on them, so they will make cute fall baskets for gifts or in the house.
That’s all the Halloween stuff I got. I “needed” a few other things. . .

Hey Megan,
The pretty wreath wasn’t in the Halloween section, it was in the houseware seasonal decoration section that always seems to be near the office stuff. Check there! I think the Westside one only had one left (after I bought mine). Let me know how it goes for you!
