My FAVORITE Albertsons store is closing by December 1! I’m so sad about it, they have the nicest cashiers. You can read a recent article about it in the Tacoma News Tribune.

    I just heard from an Albertsons employee friend that 7 more in Washington are closing, including the Bridgeport one and the Pearl one. My dad worked overnight stock in CA when I was born, so I have been an Albertsons shopper my entire life and it is sad to see so many go. I haven’t seen any official details yet, but she knew about the other stores closing before they were announced as well.

    I will miss the Carpenter Rd Lacey store….especially Kelly and Bob;
    both sweethearts..and they always make shopping fun.
    And the pharmacy people…attentive and never a problem.!
    You said it… “Boo hoo!”

    I cannot believe they are closing the north auburn albertsons and bonney lake. I live by the south auburn location but avoid it and its cashiers, its ussally super dirty and there and the beauty department manager JEAN hates coupons and couponers and I ususlly find it difficult to use coupons there… Both other stores were way cleaner and the bonney lake staff was great. IM SUPER SHOCKED. I used to drive out of my way to go to the other 2 locations. I guess Albertsons is done to me…….sad

    I have been going to the Tumwater store since we moved to the west side..my work isn’t letting me onto the news tribune article so I was wondering which lacey store it was? I hope not the one on Lilly and pacific. That is the best one here in my opinion.

    I shop the Bonney Lake one sometimes too but I’m not surprised. Other than the good deals from couponing, their prices have skyrocketed the past few years. And we have 4 other local grocery stores. I’m sad for the employees though.

    Sad about our Bonney Lake store:( I’m not completely surprised though, as I’ve never seen more than one or two checkout lanes open. It was nice to go into a quiet store, but I suppose it’s not great for the books. The cashiers there are great…

    So sad! A while back, the Albertsons on Meridian in Puyallup closed down but before they did they had to clear out their store by marking everything down…GOOD DEALS! It was before i started couponing so not sure if they accept coupons during that time???

    Oh no, I wonder which in Lacey it is. Im guessing its the smaller one, which is too unfortunate. I will miss Tom for sure. Best coupon cashier anywhere.

    I’m sad that the one in Kent is closing. It is the grocery store that is closest to me and I shop there 90% of the time.

Queen Bee has been one of my favorite pages to follow! A friend kept sharing her deals so I had to start following and I’m so glad I did. I have been able to purchase so many items at great prices because of her posts. She is great about commenting back to questions or even just saying thanks to people who let her know they picked up an item she posted! Christine R.

Queen Bee is an amazing site with great deals no doubt, but my favorite parts are the snippets of silliness, morning coffee, amazing second hand finds. Queen Bee has saved me lots of money, but it's also brightened many a days! Tilla H.

Queen bee has helped me to make Christmas awesome for my kids every year. We follow the blog and are able to stay in budget and get twice as many items for the family. They are the best!! Jessica T.
