Amazon Black Friday Deals
This morning Amazon rolled out their official Amazon Black Friday page. Although you’ll find Amazon Black Friday deals sitewide, this Amazon Black Friday page is the portal for all the lightning deals and special promotions. If you’ve been following my site for any length of time, you know Amazon is my favorite online retailer, so you can expect heavy coverage of Amazon Black Friday deals again this year.
Here are some SEVEN easy ways to find Amazon Black Friday deals and keep up to date:
- Keep an eye on the Amazon Black Friday Deals page. I’ll let you know when they start updating it. I added a banner in my my right side bar that takes you right to the page!
- Watch the Amazon Gold Box Deal of the Day page. It’s updated at midnight PST every night with a new deal. The deals come from every department on Amazon. The deal is only available for one day, while supplies last.
- Follow my Amazon Toy Deals post. I’ll update this list daily as the toy deals pick up.
- When you are on the Queen Bee site, click on Amazon in the blue menu (above) to always see the latest Amazon deals. Scroll down to see all the posts.
- Sign up for my daily email here – This email is a round-up of all my posts from the last 24 hours and it ends up in your inbox around 2 p.m. every day. I don’t spam you or sell your email.
- Follow me on Facebook. A lot of the hottest deals go FAST, so getting notified in “real time” on Facebook is a great way to snag the deal before it sells out.
- Join the Queen Bee Christmas Deals Group on Facebook – I created a group because you can opt to get notified anytime there is a new post (unlike on the Queen Bee Facebook page). I tend to post MORE on the Facebook page then the group, but if you follow me on both Facebook and in the group – you will likely see deals in both places – so there will be some repetition.
My commitment to you – the Grandma test.
I do the Grandma test on all my deals. I won’t post any deal (Amazon or otherwise) that I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing with my Grandma or a best friend or my sister – or anyone else that I care a lot about. A lot of times I see bloggers posting deals that aren’t really deals (sorry it’s true) – but before I post a deal, I’ve taken the time to compare the price with other retailers online – to make sure it truly is a deal. I’m picky – so picky in fact, that I personally post or pre-approve every single Amazon deal that is shared on Queen Bee. I take it very seriously. I try to find deals that are at least 50% off or more. On some of the more popular products or brands, such as video games, video game consoles, computers, cameras, TVs, and the super-popular toys – this kind of discount isn’t available, so I make a judgment call about the deal – and post it if I think it’s a good bet. I take into consideration product reviews, durability, availability, brand – so I won’t always post the cheapest deals, because I’ll read reviews and find out they aren’t worth the money – even if they are cheap. I prefer to post deals for high-quality, brand-name products that I believe are stand-up deals.
Did you know? When you click through an Amazon banner or link here on Queen Bee, and you shop on Amazon, you support my family and the families of the contractors who work for me.
This is true for any blogger who posts Amazon deals – they generally make commissions off Amazon sales. When you click through an Amazon banner (see side bar) or an Amazon link on your way to shop, it supports us. The Amazon price for you does not change – but your purchase then supports us and allows us to keep offering the site for FREE without crazy, obnoxious advertising (which I don’t think I’d ever do anyway). All of the awesome in-store deals, clearance round-ups, grocery match-ups that we provide – those are nearly all funded by online sales and commissions from online retailers like Amazon. We also won’t post deals just for the sake of getting you to shop. That’s just NOT how we roll around here. 🙂 We are so grateful for your support and we’ll never take it for granted. If you have any questions about this, I’m always available to answer them and you can read more in our disclosure policy here.
Do you have questions about shopping on Amazon? What kind of deals are you looking for this holiday season? How can I help you enjoy the holiday season, and find decent deals, without the pressure to buy, buy, buy!? I’d love your thoughts on this – please leave a comment

Heather, I must say if it weren’t for your website I would have never started shopping on Amazon. You have saved me valuable time and money. I am happy to use your links. You can bet in the future I will use them anytime I shop Amazon. I am certain I am one of many who look to your site to help with online shopping. Thanks again!

Heather, love using your links to Amazon. Thank you for bringing the deals and saving me lots of search time. However, I keep watching to see if they bring back the girls toddlers bike…. Fingers crossed!!

Thank you for your transparency, Heather! Yours is the only blog I know of that is completely up front about receiving a commission from Amazon. It really just makes me want to come to your site before I even go to Amazon directly! It makes it much easier for me to follow you because I KNOW you post only the best! Thank you for everything you do!

Thank you Angela!! I really do appreciate you shopping through my links. It really makes a difference for our family and the families of our contractors! I really do try and post only the best. 🙂

I LOVE that you don’t post “HURRY! HURRY! HURRY!” posts on silly things that are only important because of the commission they offer. (I’ll never need to hurry to print a coupon for 50 cents off shampoo at my local drugstore.) I get that you’re all trying to make a living doing this, but I much prefer supporting sites like yours that give an honest take on the offers out there. One question, if I click through your link & add the “smile” to the Amazon address after, does that cut out your commission?
Heather Clarke says
Hi Carrie – that’s a good question. I believe that commission goes to the charity of your choice. Smile is a super cool progam, but I’m fairly certain it goes to one place (Smile) or another (an affiliate). That’s your call. 🙂
