We got these blocks for our 16 month old a few months ago because she was chewing through her wooden Melissa and Doug blocks. She likes to knock them down and throw them (and of course chew on them, of course). I plan to get her a 2nd set and would definitely recommend them for a gift closet for a baby shower or one year old’s birthday.
