Hey Brittni, I must have mis-read it. The description says, “Commemorative Golden Anniversary Package with Foil and Embossing Digitally Remastered Feature All-New Content Rudolph Unwrapped 50 charming gifts about the beloved holiday special Rudolph Video Pop Up Book – A modern twist on the holiday pop-up book Sam the Snowman s Sing-Along Spectacular – Brand new sing-alongs of the most famous Rudolph songs Learn to Draw – Get step-by-step tutorials on how to draw your favorite characters Includes DreamWorks Penguins of Madagascar movie Movie Cash Offer* (up to $7.50 value)” I thought that meant it came with a pop-up book – but now that I’m reading it again, it says “Video” Pop-Up Book – I wonder if this is a special feature on the DVD. I thought it was a pop-up book that would follow along with the video. Hmmmm. . . . check special features on DVD – wonder if it’s there.

I got A Christmas Story and The Polar Express on blu-ray for $7.99 each at Costco yesterday. They also had Elf, Scrooged, and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation for the same price.

I also picked up Walking With Dinosaurs on blu-ray for $9.99 (it’s $19.60 on Amazon).

Thank you so much for sharing the best toy deals on Amazon. The Lego advent calenders are two dollars cheaper on Christianbook.com but you have to pay shipping. However, the Lego Jericho movie on Amazon is $29 but is only $11 on Christianbook.com so my $8 shipping expense was worth it. Just thought I would share in case anybody else was interested in those items.

Not necessarily for this list, but I am seeing lots of other blu-ray movies for great prices like Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Tommy Boy, Old School, 2010: The Year We Make Contact, and The Bodyguard for $4.88 on Amazon.

    Also, kids movies like:
    Thumbelina blu-ray $5.00
    The Neverending Story blu-ray $5.88

Thinking of your little daughter, Today is the 40th Anniversary of Hello Kitty. Sis says that McD’s Happy Meals for girls have Hello Kitty this week. I remember about 38 years ago, the Hallmark stores in Portland sold some Hello Kitty and the Snoopy dogs in 2 sizes with lots of outfits. I bought my son s Snoopy and clothes, because it was not a doll, but a dog to dress. Of course since I collect dolls, he had lots of great boy dolls. Determined Productions at that time made Hello Kitty and Snoopy.

Hi Heather, How do you find best deals on Amazon, Do you use some service? or just search on Amazon?

Hi Vitaly, I do a LOT of price research on products and watch items closely. I have specific areas that I look for deals, but I’m not willing to share all my secrets – Amazon is the primary way that I support the site and my family. Mostly it’s a LOT of time on the site and a lot of visual tracking 🙂

Do you know if amazon does price adjust if you bought something and then the price drops? I know the answer is probably no but it never hurt s to ask. By the way I love your site and I appreciate the hard work you put into it. Your site is my addiction.I check it every morning, at my break at work, at lunch…well you get the picture. Thank you again for hunting down all these great deals

Amazon does not have an official policy that says they will price match. However, it can never hurt to ask. I have found that usually, if it’s been within the last 7 days, that they will give you a promotional credit for the difference.
