*HOT* Giveaway – Win 40 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts!

The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Other links on this site may contain affiliate links to products, I may earn a small commission for posting and advertising their products. Read the full disclosure

The past seven days I’ve hosted a series of giveaways to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Queen Bee Coupons, and I’m wrapping it up with the biggest give away of all! THREE readers will win 40 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts!

Zaycon Foods, a Washington-based company, is graciously giving away three cases of chicken breasts (40 lbs each) to three lucky Queen Bee readers! But before we get into the giveaway details. . .first a little bit about the company and how you can score boneless, skinless, chicken breasts for only $1.48 a pound.

About Zaycon Foods
Zaycon Foods, an Eastern Washington business, doesn’t source it’s chicken to any stores, but rather they sell directly to consumers like you and me, which means they can charge less. In fact, it’s some of the most affordable chicken I’ve found – right now only at $1.48 a pound! And I think the quality is top-notch, too.

Zaycon Foods gave me a case of their chicken breasts to try out (40 lbs), so I could personally vouch for it. I can tell you – I LOVED it. Because they deliver directly to your area, it’s never been frozen, it’s fresh. I was also happy to learn it contains no added hormones, additives or artificial ingredients.

My mom was in town and the two of us trimmed and packaged up all 40 lbs of chicken breasts in a little over an hour (while juggling kids, so it could be done quicker!). There was very little fat to trim off and the chicken was in great shape. I thought about making freezer meals with it, but with family in town and lots to do, I decided to just freeze it using my Food Saver. I sliced some and froze the rest in packages of two or three chicken breasts. If you don’t have a Food Saver you can just use freezer Ziploc bags. If you are interested in doing freezer meals, I recommend purchasing Fix, Freeze, Feast: Prepare in Bulk and Enjoy by the Serving – More than 125 Recipes. It’s only $10.17 from Amazon and it has some great chicken recipes in it. I was really happy with the chicken and I’ll definitely be ordering from Zaycon Foods again – great price and it was super convenient to clean it up and freeze it all at once.

Fall chicken event
To celebrate Zaycon Foods expanding to Western Washington they are offering an amazing price of $1.49 a pound, making a 40-lb case of chicken only $59.20. You won’t find this cheaper at Costco or any of our local grocery stores. Because they don’t sell to the stores, they take orders through their Web site and have specific drop off locations/dates that you can pick it up.

To order the chicken

  1. Register over at Zaycon Food Web site.
  2. One you’ve filled out the short registration form, select your location (it will show you date/time for pick-up)
  3. Order your chicken, you can order as many cases as you’d like. If someone other than yourself plans to pick up chicken, make a note on the order instructions.
  4. Pay with check or credit card
  5. Print your confirmation and bring it with you to pick up your chicken.

Zaycon Foods will send you an e-mail a couple days before delivery to remind you. For the Tacoma, Puyallup, Olympia area, the next delivery date will be November 12, specific locations to be determined. If you can’t afford a whole case (which is the minimum you can purchase), consider splitting the case with a friend or family member.

The giveaway!
Now for the FUN part – the giveaway! Zaycon Foods is giving away three (3) cases of a chicken breasts ($60 value each) to three lucky Queen Bee readers. If you win, you’ll need to be able to pick up your chicken when it comes to your nearest pick-up location in the next few weeks.

If you don’t live in the Northwest or live more than an hour away form the pick-up locations – you’ll be given a $30 gift card to a grocery store of your choice instead of the chicken.

This giveaway ends next Tuesday, October 19, at 9 p.m. PST. The winners will be selected randomly using “And the Winner is” plug-in, a program within my blog that picks the winners. You must be 18 years or older to enter the giveaway.

How to enter:

1.) Required entry – Leave a comment on THIS blog post telling me what you’ll do with your chicken!
2.) Extra entry – Head over to Zaycon Foods and register an account. Then come back to this post and leave a comment saying you registered over at Zaycon Foods.

Good luck!

Disclosure – Zaycon Foods is sponsoring this giveaway by providing a case of chicken to three Queen Bee readers. They provided me with a case of chicken to review. No other compensation was given and all opinions and reviews are 100% mine.

Wow!! The chicken sounds wonderful and the price would be great since I’m on a fixed income. I just wish this place was on the east coast. My Mom is moving nearby tomorrow so I’m sure to be doing lots more cooking!! I would definitely be cutting some of the breasts into strips before freezing since we like to make chicken and pasta with a variety of sauces and veggies.

If I won the chicken I would do one thing that would help two families, first I would feed my own family and second I would make diet friendly food for my ailing parents that right now can not take care of their own food. Thanks.

I am allergic to beef so I only eat chicken. Our family eats a lot of chicken and chicken can be used in most any recipe. I would be blessed to win this contest and receive this box of free chicken for my family.
