I sign up recently – just in time for summer – I’m so excited to catch up on reading, audiobooks and magazines! You don’t need a kindle to take advantage of this service – for example, I just downloaded the Kindle app on my phone and I can access all the features there – so easy when we are on the go this summer.
Kindle Unlimited ย gives you unlimited access to more than 1 million Kindle titles, magazine titles and even audiobooks!
I’d love to hear your favorite book recommendations as of late! Leave a comment if you’ve read something you recommend.
With the two-month free trial, what is the exact date that free trial ends?
When Amazon makes offers like this, the free trial typically ends on the same date as you sign up but 2 months later. So if you signed up today (April 4), it should end June 4. They will include that in the emails and you’ll be able to see when the free trial ends on your subscription page at Amazon. Hope that helps!
Just spent the last 10 minutes exploring Amazon Unlimited. I was really disappointed. I noticed that you mentioned 600,000 books but I’m not sure if you’ve actually looked through the books. I searched for about 10 authors, both new and old, mainly science fiction since Amazon struggles with that genre already. Not one author had books listed in Amazon Unlimited. I’m a HUGE fan of Amazon but I’d pay $9.99 if it meant I was reading a couple books a month. BUT most of the titles (with the exception of LOTR and Harry Potter), are either those silly self-published how to Kindle guides or the Kindle “romance” books. Sigh ๐ IF they aren’t going to offer real books then $9.99 is an awful lot of money to pay to read “How to Garden: December” and “How to can Asparagus”. Perhaps you could do a search and give us an update with your findings. ๐
From the brief look of the books it is nothing that I have marked on my “to read” list unfortunately. Maybe with some feedback they will expand their books to include more titles. As much I pay a month for books I would be willing to do this program with an expansion of titles! Such a good idea. I used to be a part of a book program called booksfree & loved it pre-kindle days.
This sounded great at first, but I think they just took all the free Prime Kindle books and are now charging us $10 a month. Am I wrong?
Actually, I am wrong I think. I think you still have your prime benefit of 1 checked out kindle book a month. This option just gives you unlimited. Sorry!
