My Fred Meyer shopping trip – more deals, coupons to look for!

The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Read the full disclosure

I went to Fred Meyer today to get some of the Founder’s Day deals. While I was there I scoped out some additional savings and coupons in-store. Please note – blinkies and coupons may not be available at ALL stores.Ā  I only post them so you have an idea of things to look for.

Kikkoman soy sauce – $1.50
$1/1 printable coupon
or $1/1 printable coupon
or $1/1 printable coupon (Facebook, click on coupon link in left nav)
or $1/1 Eggs WYB Kikkoman Product 1/23/2011 RP Insert (exp 7/31/2011)
or $0.55/1 Carton of Eggs WYB 1 Kikkoman Product 1/23/2011 RP Insert (exp 7/31/2011)
or B2G1 Eggs WYB Kikkoman products 1/23/2011 RP Insert (exp 7/31/2011)
or $0.55/1 Eggs WYB Kikkoman Product All You Feb 2011 (exp 6/30/2011)
or B1G1 Buy Kikkoman Sauce Get a Ponzu Free
Final price = $0.50 cents
Plus get a FREE Ponzu sauce or $1 off eggs with coupons listed above

Beech-nut baby cereal – $1.75 each
$1/1 blinkie coupons, in-store (HOT coupon!)
Final price = $0.75 cents!

Kraft Natural sliced cheese 7-8 oz – $2.50
$1/1 blinkie coupon for Big Slice OR Natural Sliced Kraft cheese, in-store
Final price = $1.50 each
That’s about $3 a pound, which is not bad for cheese, especially sliced.

GE light bulbs – $2.99
* Buy two GE Energy Smart or GE Reveal light bulbs and get an in-store coupon for $2 off your next purchase.
* Buy three GE Energy Smart or GE Reveal light bulbs and get an in-store coupon for $3 off your next purchase.
I actually had to buy three of these as we just put in new porch lights. I ended up getting the $3 off your next purchase – which means it’s kinda like paying $1.99 each!

TOYS – If you are in the market for toys, I recommend taking a trip down the toy aisles. They have 40% off last marked clearance price. They also have a lot of toys marked down quite a bit. For example, I saw Toy Story toys reg. price $24.99 for only $14.99. They weren’t on clearance, just on super sale.

HOUSEWARES – I noticed some beautiful, colorful shower curtains on clearance for about $11, plus they are an additional 40% off the lowest clearance price.

EASTER CANDY – My store had a whole cart full of chocolate Palmer Easter bunnies “Eggbert” for only $0.49 cents (reg. $1.99) if you’re feeling a little jumpy for chocolate. šŸ™‚

SPECIALTY BEERS – My store also had an entire cart of specialty beers marked 25% off. Mostly Belguim style beers that would run $9.99 each, that is EACH. So they are pretty fancy, maybe a Father’s Day gift idea?

Make sure and check out my complete list of Fred Meyer deals here.

Hi Mindy – It’s only Triple Points if you had the specific email in your inbox. Did you receive the e-mail? Either way, I’m so excited for you – welcome to couponing. I hope you have a fun and frugal first shopping trip. Don’t get discouraged, it gets easier and the savings get greater the longer you do it.
