Went shopping at Safeway today and found some great deals! By combining sales, coupons and catalinas, I spent $18 (after catalinas) and saved $52 (or more if you consider the Safeway card discounts!).

Before any coupons or Safeway sales were deducted my total was $70.09.
I used my $5 off $50 coupon from my Entertainment book, I gave this to the cashier first
Then I used all my manufacturer and store coupons to bring my total down to $25
After paying I received $7 in catalinas to be used on my next order!
So final cost (after catalinas) was only $18! (The ribs alone were $12.07!)
A big reason this shopping trip was so successful is because I had been collecting tear pad coupons every time I’d find them. When the right sale comes along, if you have them with you (in your handy coupon binder), you can piece the deals together and save lots!

Can you please give the details for the SC Johnson rebate? I have bought some Ziploc containers and I would love to bring the cost down some. Thank you very much.

If you use the SC Johnson rebate, you can save another $5 on this order (your Ziplock containers count toward it). I guess you can do up to 3 rebates per household. It’s going until the end of June. š I know you’ve used it once already, did you do the other 2? š

Oooh – great idea! I’ve only done the rebate once so far. . .so I will do that! Thanks for reminding me DeAnn!
