We used to do EXTENSIVE grocery match-ups for every store across the nation. We don’t have that capacity any more. But groceries are such a substantial portion to saving each month that I want to go back to a weekly HIGH LEVEL post with the best, of the best, deals at our local stores. You can expect this post to publish weekly on Tuesday nights or Wednesday mornings when the new ads come out.

FRED MEYER Buy 5, save $1 each promotion
Must buy in groups of five. Mix and match. Pro-tip. . .I use the baby seat area of the cart to put my buy 5 items in. . .when I reach 5 items, I love them to the big basket. This keeps you from having to count your items over and over to see if you have multiples of 5.

Not as good a deal as the Fred Meyer butter for $1.88 each but if you like butter blends or spreadable stuff. . .not a bad price.
