I’m sending a big, virtual HIVE FIVE to Queen Bee reader Robin, who sent in this photo of her latest Safeway trip. She got everything pictured for $10.35 out of pocket and she saved $30.26 – a savings of 75%! This was her first time using all her e-coupons and she found how easy it was for her to get FREE and super cheap items!
Here is what Robin had to say about her trip:
This was my first trip combining all the e coupons. I went to Safeway two weeks ago when they were doing the buy 8 and save $4. I had previously loaded two of the Hamburger Helper e-coupons onto my card, but I thought you could only use one at a time. When my total was $0.75 less than I figured, I kind of had an idea that you could combine them.
Then today, I saw your post about the Safeway trip you did today (I have a RSS feed for your site). I saw that you combined everything, so I loaded everything up and walked over to Safeway and tried it. I don’t have ink for the printer right now, so I couldn’t print the Wheaties coupon, or another one, but I had enough on my Safeway card to get everything pretty cheap or free. I ended up with paying $10.35 for everything in the picture. It says I saved 30.26 or 75% on today’s trip. And the cool part, is that I was already headed over there to get freezer bags for the meat I got last week. I figured I would spend about $6 on the bags. Well THEY were on sale, too. . . I still get a high from getting lots of good groceries for cheap!! I’m really excited about this!
Way to go Robin! I don’t think the coupon “high” ever wears off, I still get it after a great shopping trip. My husband teases me about it – because I become so giddy about my deals. 🙂

If you score a great deal and you take a photo of it – I’d love to feature it on Queen Bee and give you a virtual HIVE FIVE!
