Even though the kids aren’t going back to school in person – they desperately needed some new clothes. We’ve barely left the house since March and we really haven’t been hitting up the mall – so this was long overdue.
I’ve often shared about the kids clothing deals I find at my local thrift stores and as long as my kids will still wear them – I’ll keep shopping secondhand!
We’ll start with the Gap jean jacket pictured above. It was $0.99 cents! My daughter loves it and she’s already worn it many times since it came home.
Banana Republic cashmere blend sweater for my son! It was $0.99 cents! This one is a tiny bit too big. . .but at the rate that he’s growing, it will be perfect for the holiday season.
GAP button up dress shirt for my son – $0.99 cents!
Sustainable blend shirt for my son – this one was $3.75 but it was the softest material ever and it’s the kind of shirt he loves. It was his favorite shirt of all the ones that I brought home.
Forever 21 shirt for my daughter – this one was $0.99 cents. Such a pretty top and she loves it with her jean jacket!
Kavu flannel for $0.99 cents! For my son, this is probably my FAVORITE out of all the clothing item finds. I love this brand and this price is fabulous.
Columbia rain jacket for Mr. Queen Bee. The dude has a thing for rain jackets. . .it’s probably because he’s often out taking care of the chickens in the rain or working in the yard. This one looks brand new and was his size. We paid $9.74 for this one. . . a bit more than the other clothing items – but it’s still an incredible deal!
Chaps dress shirt for Mr. Queen Bee for $0.99 cents. He’s teaching this year online so he’ll need nice dress shirts for his Zoom meetings. 🙂
I found this World Market lamp for $9.74 . . . it still had the $55 price tag under the bottom! I had picked up a white lampshade a few weeks ago at Goodwill for $2.99 that will go perfectly with it!
This secondhand treasure is just right down funky. I can’t tell you why I had to have this owl mosaic mirror for $5.99. . . but I just had to take him home. I love unique decorations and this definitely fit the bill. I looked online and similar mirrors are going for $40-70 each! I still need to find a place to hang him on the wall. . .but for now he’s hanging on the window ledge keeping an eye on things.
I hope to share more secondhand deals . . .it seems to be my therapy during this pandemic. I don’t get to go often, but when I do, it always calms me and makes me excited for the things I find!
Have you been secondhand shopping lately? What have you been finding?
