When I stopped by Target yesterday I found a bunch of peelie coupons I wanted to tell you about! I found $1 off any one box of Fiber One cereal peelie coupons (see photo above), $1 off any original Cheerios peelie (these were also found at Safeway this week), and $1 off any Kashi fruit and grain bars!
The Kashi cereal was priced at $3.89 at my Target, so not a good deal, even with the $1 peelie. The Kashi TLC bars were about $3, I think. . . so also not cheap enough for me to justify buying even with the $1 peelie. Hopefully they’ll be around for a good sale!
I have heard a lot of debates about peelie coupons, some people believe it’s okay to take them even if you’re not buying the product, because you’re going to end up buying the product at some point . . .you’re just going to wait for a sale. Others believe they belong with the specific product and you should not use it unless you are buying that product, at that time. What do you think?

I completely agree. I was at a store last week hoping to do a great coupon deal on a few bottles of body wash. The woman ahead of me proceeded to strip every peelie off the bottles of body wash I was intending to purchase. I don’t understand people who can’t use a little “coupon manners” to make it available for all of us to save money. It is discouraging to hear of deals from this website, rush to the store and never find a trace of the fantastic “peelies” reported to make a worthwhile deal. Sorry to vent.

I have to say I am pretty sure I was the woman you’re referring to and if so, I took 6 Old spice peelies to use with the 6 old spice bottles that were in my cart (They said $1 off ANY two and Danny doesn’t like the scent they were on and neither does my dad), and only after stopping at a different target and finding none of the body wash left in stock and no peelies at all, so I wouldn’t be quick to judge someone as not having manners, I didn’t take any more than I was using at that immediate moment and I didn’t know until I already selected what I was getting and found the peelies I needed that you were coming up to look for the same thing, and it turned out that not only was one of them expired last year and unable to be used, but the cashier and the manager would not let me use some of the other buy one get one free old spice coupons for that deal saying that one per purchase meant one per transaction, so for some of those bottles the peelie was the only coupon I was able to use.

I’m surprised no one has left any comments. I still think it is rude to remove peelies from items you don’t intend to buy. What if you never find a deal to use them on and they go to waste? Then the person who actually buys the item doesn’t get to use them on what the manufacturer intended them for. In my personal opinion, if the coupons were free for all, they would be on tear pads. There are plenty of coupons available from lots and lots of other sources for us couponers to take advantage of:}

There has been some good discussion about peelies on the Queen Bee Facebook page! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Queen-Bee-Coupons-Savings/179890524391?ref=ts?
I just want to make it clear that when I post about peelie coupons they are not for people to run out and clear the shelves of all the peelies. . .they are a heads up that here is a peelie and here is what it’s currently on sale for. . . so people can decide if it’s a good deal for them or not. I also think it’s a good idea to tell people about peelies, because then they know to look for them when there is a good sale. For example, if you know you’ve heard about $1 Cheerio peelies, you can keep your eyes open when you go to buy Cheerios.
Thanks to everyone who commented about this, both here and on Facebook!
