I went to the West Olympia Target this morning to see if their toys had gone to 75% off. They haven’t, they are still at 50% off, but I hear that other Target stores across the nation are already at 75%. So it might be worth checking your local store!
My store had probably four to five aisles with clearanced toys. I found a Leap Frog Junior book “Christmas in the Manger” that was marked to $5.48 (reg. price $10.98). With the $4/1 leapfrog coupon from coupons.com (had to print a couple weeks ago) or from the 1/3 Parade magazine, I paid only $1.48!!
If you need some birthday gifts, I’d consider checking out your local store. If you buy a toy at 50% off, you can always keep checking for it to go to 75% off and if it does, and you can find the toy, you can buy it at 75% off and return the one you bought at 50%. Or they might make a price adjustment for you. But be prepared, you might not find it at 75%.
Also, make sure to check out the baby aisles – lots of stuff on clearance and kid’s shoes – there were lots of shoes for $3.74, but unfortunately none my son’s size.Ā Oh and camping and sports stuff – check there, too.
