Today I had the pleasure of being on the KIRO 97.3 Weekend Radio show. The hosts, Bob Larson and Josh Kerns, were super nice and they were very interested in learning about this phenomenon of Extreme Couponing that they’d seen on TV.
Now I donβt advocate buying 1,000 tubes of toothpaste or 1,200 boxes of cereal (extreme couponing), but I DO advocate shopping smart, snipping coupons and shopping sales. I believe ANYONE can save with coupons and I was happy to talk to them about sensible couponing and how people are really saving money with coupons!
If you missed it, you can listen to the couponing segment here (.mp3 file) or here:
Let me know what you think!
If you are here because you heard the story on the radio, WELCOME! You can start here.

Just listened! I love your quote “not a how-to show but a how cool show”. This is a perfect way to explain the show! I’m getting ready to teach a class on May 1st and I know I need to explain the show versus reality – How cool show and See meals not deals are my new favorite retorts π π
Thanks for linking it too!!

Awesome job!!! I am new to couponing and was excited for tlc EC show, set it up on my dvr. I thought I would get some more coupon tips. I watched one show and then took it off my dvr. I will stick to my favorite hard working coupon bloggers!! Thank you for helping us all save.
