After a HOT tip from Deanna over on the Queen Bee Facebook page, I stopped into Target to find 70% off select summer items and Super Hero summer stuff. This was one of those divine deals because I have a double birthday party this Sunday for my kids – and the water squirters, beach balls and yard toys will be perfect to entertain the kids.
Super hero beach balls – $0.89 cents (reg. $2.99)
Water Blasters – $1.49 each (reg. $4.99)
Ball toss game – $1.49 (reg. $4.99)
Super Man party center pieces, pack of 3 – $1.80 (reg. $6)
Color Blasters (light saber water squirter thing-a-ma-jig) – $2.99 (reg. $9.99)
There was clearance ALL over the store. Especially the toy aisles. In past years, they have moved all the clearance into a specific aisle, – but this year it seems like all the clearance is spread out across the aisles, with it’s respective brands. A lot of toys are still 30% off, but I found quite a few 50% off, too.
This whole aisle had 50% off signs, but select items scanned at 70% off. The yard toys, beach toys, picnic gear – it all rang up 70% off.
Lucky for me, my store had a price scanner at the end of the aisle, so it was super convenient to check prices. This garden hose, regular $9.99, was just $2.99 after the 70% off!
This aisle was also marked 50% off, but most of the items rang up 70% off.
I scored a BIG metal “beverage” tub for $5.99, regular price was $19.99. It will be perfect for the party. They had plastic cups, lunch boxes, picnic gear, beach towels and more. Just scan whatever you think you want to see if it’s 70% off.
And now for the Target toy clearance. We are waiting for 70% off. . . .but if you see something you want at 50% off, you might want to snag it up as items go quickly at 70% off. I’m just going to include a bunch of photos that I took. It’s too hard to see the price in all the photos, but it gives you an idea of what types of toys to scan and look to be discounted. If I can tell, I’ll mention whether it’s 30% or 50% off.
Monster’s U board game – 50% off – $9.99

Let’s talk LEGO clearance, since this stuff is a true treasure when you find it. I didn’t see much for discounts – maybe 10% off on most sets. Which is not too impressive. A few sets had 30% off.
LEGO – Lord of the Rings The Orc Forge was $33.98 (reg. $39.99)
Going for $55+ on Amazon – LEGO Lord Of The Rings The Orc Forge
Hero Factory – $13.98 (reg. $20)
Star Wars small sets – $9 ish, reg $13.99
This probably had one of the biggest discounts. The Galaxy Squad Vermin Vaporizer was $41.98 (reg. $59.99)
It’s actually going for $42 on Amazon right now! LEGO Space Vermin Vaporizer 70704
Hero Factory Brain Attack – $9.08 (reg. $12.99)
LEGO Small Cottage Creator 3-in-1 set – $21.24 (reg. $24.99)
Barely any discount! Going for $23 ish on Amazon – LEGO Creator Small Cottage 31009
Both of these sets were about $21.24 (reg. $24.99). The clearance tag is a total tease!
The Hobbit Escape from Mirkwood Spiders – $25.48 (reg. $29.99)
Going for $24 ish on Amazon – LEGO The Hobbit Escape from Mirkwood Spiders
And as a completely random note – did you know Target adds discount coupons to it’s meat when it’s close to expire? These Sliders were priced $4.94, plus the $2 off coupons you’d pay $2.94.
Disclaimer – Clearance varies by store. These photos were taken at the Target in Lacey Washington late today. There is no guarantee that you’ll find these same items or prices at your local store. One year I did this list and I got a complaint from a Target employee because a reader demanded, “Queen Bee said these should have been clearanced.” Ha! I don’t work for Target and this post is not sponsored or endorsed by Target. Whew. Okay – go forth and find clearance. And report back, I’d love to hear what you’re finding. You gotta email me when you find it at 70% off!!!

Were pool supplies on clearance…we need to get a new pump for our pool!
Heather Clarke says
My store doesn’t have a lot of pool supplies – since I live in the moderate NW and most people don’t have pools. Maybe call your local Target and ask them if they are on sale?

I love the markdown meat at target! I often find the organic chicken with $2 and $3 off! Be sure to watch the register when you are checking out. One time I scored on a bunch of great meat deals and when I left the store and checked my receipt two of my coupons on the meat didn’t scan. So I had to go back and got $6 back!
