The last couple months I’ve been sharing my Amazon Subscribe and Save orders so you can see the amazing deals available – delivered to your home!
This month is probably the BIGGEST Subscribe and Save order I’ve ever received – between the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE sale (no longer running) and the great prices on groceries – I really feel like I got some amazing deals this month.
I do factor in convenience as a major selling point for me – without clipping coupons, running around town (using gas) and/or schlepping around my children to every sale – there is value in paying a *little* bit more than I might find with coupons and having it show up on my door step. But even still, many of these prices are what I consider rock-bottom prices.
I also did the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE sale last year and stocked up on toilet paper and paper towels in August of 2013. We still have paper towels left from the sale, but definitely needed toilet paper. This order of paper products will last us a LOOONG time.
Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong Bath Tissue, 48 Double Rolls
After coupons, Subscribe and Save order, and the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE promotion, I paid $57.26 for FOUR cases. This comes out to $14.32 a case, each with 48 double rolls. That’s $0.30/double roll or $0.15 per single roll.
Cottonelle Ultra Comfort Care Toilet Paper, Double Roll Economy Plus Pack, 32 Count
After coupons, Subscribe and Save order and the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE promotion, I paid $42.30 for FOUR cases. This comes out to $10.58 a case, each with 32 count double rolls. That’s $0.33/double roll or $0.17 per single roll. Plus this came with 4 samples of Cottonelle flushable wipes
In terms of other Subscribe and Save orders, we had some great savings this month!
Please note – the prices I paid, may not still be available. With Subscribe and Save your first order locks in when you place your order. I get an extra 20% off discount because I order at least 5 items each month and have Amazon Mom.

This is $100.80 for Subscribe and Save items (and another $99.56 for toilet paper). Some of these things – like the toothpaste and the deodorant should get us through a YEAR or more. The toilet paper at least six months (I’m hoping). And the food items should stretch over the next few months. My favorite deals are the TOM products and the hair care products for under $1.
You’ll see there are LOTS of convenience foods in this shipment – like single serve crackers or chips. My son hates hot lunch – so we pack lunches for him and for my husband every weekday. With my husband back to work (he’s a teacher) and coaching football – he has many 12-hour days (15 hours or longer on game days) and we have found that convenience foods save him from having to pick up fast food – a big savings for us. Many days he takes leftovers – but I’m grateful for these deals for days that are extra hectic.
This is how the toilet paper and some of the other items were delivered. They deliver it in big boxes. . . which my daughter and son LOVE to play with. It’s at least a day or two of entertainment. 🙂
Amazon box castle. They pull out the stickers, the markers, the glue, the scissors and they go to town.
So that’s how we saved money on food and toiletries this month thanks to Amazon. Did you order any items with Subscribe and Save? I’d love to know if your using Subscribe and Save to save big.

Do they accept coupons or food stamps?

When your order ships, are you charged the price it was when you set up the S&S order or the price it is on the day it ships? For example, if I placed an order today for an item that is $6.95, but by the time it ships that item is $19.95, which price will I pay? Thanks! 🙂
Heather Clarke says
Good question Mandy. The price locks in when you order. It’s valid the first shipment. Every shipment after that is based on the price at the time of shipment. About a week before your order ships, you get an email from Amazon and you skip shipment on an item or cancel the order all together. There is no penalty for canceling or delaying shipment. I make a note to manage my orders – BEFORE they ship, so I don’t end up paying more than I’d like. And often I cancel and re-subscribe when the price drops again. Hope this helps!

Thanks Heather! I have had this same question. I made out pretty well this month. I think I used your links for most of my orders. I agree that I am willing to pay a little more for the convenience. Other items aren’t available in large quantities around here, so I am glad to get the discount on things like boxes of 12 Larabars and Kind bars.
