Two months ago on October 20 I told you about a HOT deal on toys from Barnes & Noble. To get the deal, most of us signed up for a FREE 2-month trial of their Barnes & Noble membership. Well if you did this, your FREE trial should be ending in the next week or so (mine ends Dec. 19). If you don’t CANCEL your FREE membership, you automatically enroll in it for the next year, which is $25.
So here’s what you need to do:
- If you want to keep your membership, do nothing. You’ll be charged $25 and you’ll continue to receive the great benefits of FREE shipping, $50 in coupons and lots of other perks. You can read about it here. Really, $25 isn’t much for a year of FREE shipping, but if you aren’t going to use it, you should cancel.
- To cancel, login into your Barnes & Noble account.
- Scroll down until you see Membership info:
- Click on the link for “View and Update Your Member Profile” (right under CARD INFORMATION)
- Then scroll down until you see “Free Membership Settings” and click on “Change Free Membership Settings”
- Then click on “Cancel Free Membership”
- It will ask you if you are sure and you’ll just need to confirm the cancellation.
- DO THIS BEFORE you automatically are scheduled to renew and there shouldn’t be ANY charges. š
Hope this is helpful for you and I hope you enjoyed the FREE membership while it lasted. š
By the way Barnes & Noble is doing FREE shipping today, 12/17 only, when you use the promo code D9X9T7R

Hi Betty,
I am in no way associated with Barnes & Noble. My post is designed to lead you through the steps to cancel your membership over on the Barnes & Noble web site. Follow the steps and you’ll be able to cancel your subscription easily.
