Do you ever wander into Target to get something specific and then walk out with a whole lot of other things? It’s like Costco that way. But today – it was actually very frugal and I saved at least 50% off everything pictured – and some 70% off!
You really should check out the arts and crafts aisle of your local Target. Mine had MAJOR markdowns in the Crayola department. Everything from glow in the dark chalk to those fancy Crayola Explosion notebooks – 50-70% off. I saved 50% off some Wild Notes Crayola notebooks and 70% off the Crayola Explosions 3D set – only $2.91 (reg. $9.69!)
My favorite deal of the day was the 5-in-1 Creativity Desks they were on sale for ONLY $2.99, regular $10. Those are going under the Christmas tree for my daughter and niece. I love giving art supplies as gifts – I just think they are such solid gifts – most kids love them, they don’t make noise, and they encourage creativity.
These Fab Snaps Wrist Purses by Pop Art Pixies were marked down to $4.97 (reg. $14.97) and they look like a fun project for that 8-12 age range (I have no idea about this, my daughter is 4 – is that a good age for this kind of gift?).
I also found a princess backpack for $4.99 (reg. $9.99) and a Dora watch with interchangeable faces for $4.99 (reg. $9.99). Both Christmas gifts!
The party lanterns were marked down to $2, down from nearly $8. Those were a bit of a splurge, but I thought they’d be fun for birthday parties next summer. And speaking of birthday parties – I scored a bunch of Star Wars party favors for $1 a package (reg. $2). I’m thinking stocking stuffers.
I definitely recommend stopping by your local Target and looking for these deals or similar ones!
Check the end caps of the toy section for 30 – 70% off! Lots of board games, Zhu Zhu pets, and more.
I found an end cap in the beauty section with 50% off Conair hair straighteners and hair dryers. They were marked down to about $14.95, instead of $30!
I spotted this 16 piece porcelain dinnerware set for $17.94, marked down from $59! I don’t need dishes, so I didn’t buy it, but after the fact I was thinking it would make a GREAT gift exchange item!
And more kitchen clearance! I spotted a Dyson City vacuum on clearance for $278 (reg. $399). Plus lots of smaller appliances.
REMEMBER – Target clearance varies by store. This was at the West Olympia, Washington Target.
Have you found any good Target clearance deals lately?

I was also impressed with some of the things I found on clearance at Target on Monday. I got my daughter that same Disney princess backpack.

I love shopping Target clearance too but I always have the problem of buying too much! I have a relative getting married soon and I saw lots of nice kitchen appliances on clearance. Is it taboo to buy something not listed on the registry or to pick up a similar item of a different brand if it’s on clearance?

Monday night I found a ton of stuff on clearance at my Target (Puyallup). Plus I had my 5% Pharmacy rewards and used my 5% debit so I really did well! I got a printer for $37 (reg. $150), a bunch of beginner reader books and chapter books, kid games, etc. I can now check off a bunch of Christmas gifts off my list! Hooray for clearance!!
