Fred Meyer – 50% off lowest clearance price, major toy selection

I stopped into Fred Meyer tonight and found an aisle full of clearanced toys with an additional 50% off the lowest clearance price. I don’t know if all stores will have this kind of selection – but I hope yours does! I found a coveted LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean set on clearance for $39.99 – so after 50% off, I paid $20! Regular price was $49.99. Amazon actually has it on clearance for $34.99 – LEGO The London Escape 4193) but if you found it at Fred Meyer you’re getting the best deal.

I also found LEGO “board” games in the same aisle and I ended up paying $6.38 (reg. $15.99) and $4.38 (reg. $10.99) for each one.

My son had birthday money to spend (he turned five yesterday!) and we stopped at Target first hoping for some 70% off toys, but no such luck. Glad we went across the street to Fred Meyer, they had so much to choose from. When we were looking at Target, I told my son the LEGO sets were all full price and he said, “Let’s go to the other store (Fred Meyer), I don’t want to waste my money.” 🙂 Love it!

Regular LEGO sets at Fred Meyer (not clearance) are actually 15% off, plus there is an extra 10% off home coupon that you can use!

There were Kre-O sets, Star Wars light sabers, barbies, Liv dolls, Cars movie toys, Elmos, Mega Bloks, and lots of other toys. I am not sure how long the 50% off additional lasts – but I’m guessing through Saturday.

HOT, HOT price on the Leapster 2 Learning Game System. Normally $49.99, on clearance for $39.97 – but 50% off that. Only $20! My store had about five or six of them on the shelf.

Fred Meyer is having a bonus sale thru Saturday, you can learn more and print your coupons here. Unfortunately clearance isn’t included – but the prices are so great, it doesn’t matter. You can also get FREE Snapware through Saturday.
