If you shop at Fred Meyer, you should look near the front entrance, my local Fred Meyer stores have coupon exchange baskets (Olympia and Tumwater). I make a bee-line for it the minute I walk through the door – you just never know what you’re going to find. If you have extra coupons, this is a great place to drop them off.
AND. . .don’t forget that Walmart and QFC are taking competitors catalinas right now. So if you find a good catalina coupon in the Fred Meyer basket and it doesn’t equal a good deal at Freds, hold on to it and give it a try at QFC or Walmart!
Can I combine catalina for a certain product and manufacturers coupon for the same product? They both say manufacturers coupons. I always get catalinas at Fred Meyers but not sure if I can combine them.

Good question JP! You cannot combine manufacturer coupons, so for example, if you had a catalina for $1 off cheerios, you couldn’t ALSO use a $1 newspaper/printed manufacturer coupon for cheerios. You CAN however use newspaper/printed coupon manufacturer coupons with the “off your next order” catalinas – for example $3 off your next order or $5 off your next order. Does that make sense?

Last Sunday somebody had left almost the entire “Have you tried this yet?” PG mailer in the basket! It had the exact coupons I needed and I was so thankful. I always make sure to check it and leave behind my coupons that somebody else could use. Kellie – maybe ask to talk to a manager about it and volunteer to put some coupons in it to get it restarted??
Our Fred Meyer took it away because “no one” was using it! I wonder how we could get it back!
