If you have summer vacation plans, I recommend signing up to get Groupon and Living Social deals for your destination. By signing up now you can watch for offers you can use while you’re on your trip – often saving you 50% or more. You’ll be surprised the kinds of deals you can get – hotels, restaurants, theater tickets, museum admission, concerts – the list is endless.
I won a trip to New York through a sweepstakes (wahoo!) and we’ll be going soon. I signed up to get New York Groupon deals and I’ve already purchased two meals at 50% off. By planning ahead, I’m going to save on things like meals! Make sure to watch expiration dates to make sure your voucher is good for the time you’ll be in town – but most of them are good for at least a few months.
To sign up, just head over to Groupon and Living Social and enter your e-mail address for the city you’ll be visiting. To select a different city, use the drop down menu (Groupon) or click on More Cities (Living Social).
I also recommend getting the Entertainment Book for your vacation destination. Right now they are 2 for $20, plus 35% cash back. We bought the Entertainment Book for our honeymoon in Hawaii and had buy one, get one free meals and tickets to things like parasailing!
Also, check out Jetsetter! Jetsetter gives you a $25 credit just for creating an account. A lot of times local hotels will be available for about $100. After your credit you can get them for about $75 (or less) – pack up the kids and play all night in the hotel swimming pool!

I have been doing this for several months and I LOVE IT! We buy Groupons for everywhere we go. Spokane to visit my family, Vegas, southern California. It’s a wonderful easy way to save money. Glad you posted this so everyone knows :0)

I buy them for the area we live in, too (the greater Seattle area). Awesome! :0)
