I am so excited to tell you that we’ve UPDATED our popular Costco Price List with current pricing, as of April 2016! We create this list the old fashioned way – physically walking through a Costco warehouse and making copious notes about the prices and figuring out the per unit prices. The main purpose is to help you compare prices with your local grocery stores!
We’ve also added more items – we now have 1140 products included in the price list and we’ve made it easier to sort by adding new categories for candy, gum and mints, bread and vitamins and supplements. We’ve expanded the home and paper products listings as well as more medicines.
As we update the prices we make notes about the trends we are seeing. Generally prices remained stable with only a few (small) increases and decreases across all categories.
Meat (in general) was down in price, including frozen and fresh meats. We saw a similar decrease in dairy prices.
Produce generally went up but in seasonally appropriate ways. For example, oranges and potatoes went down while other non-seasonal items went up.
We also discovered a lot of Kirkland Signature items (Costco’s in-store brand) went down in price.
We’d love to know what your favorite deals are at Costco and if you’ve noticed any trends in price increases or decreases!
