After a couple weeks of slow grocery ads, I found some great deals on food this week. I noticed that the Chef’Store has a box of 40 lbs of chicken breast for $65.99! This comes out to $1.65 a pound – such a great price! This is at the Olympia store (Fones road). I have purchased chicken in large boxes like this before. I would take a few hours and separate it to meal-size portions and freeze it! Check your Chef’Store location to see if it’s a local deal for you. It looks like normal price is $75.49 . . .which is $1.89/lb – also great!
I also noticed some fabulous deals at our local Kroger (Fred Meyer store). Check your local Kroger store for similar prices (they can vary by location and store brand).
