Last week I posted a super HOT deal on Seventh Generation diapers that made them about $0.08 cents each. Turns out there was a misprint in the product listing that actually ended up making them more like $0.52 cents each! Gah, that’s a little LOT crazy. I tried to cancel my order, but it had shipped already – so here I am with diapers that cost me twice as much as I’d even think about paying regular price!
So I’ll return them to Amazon. It’s simple enough. And I’ll walk you through the steps, in case you bought them, too – or you find yourself with a Subscribe and Save package that you weren’t expecting.
1.) Start with Amazon.com —> Your Account
2.) Go to —> Your Orders
3.) Find the item you’d like to return listed in your orders. Click the “Return” button.
4.) Click the toggle button next to the product, then using the drop-down list select the reason for the return. I selected Different from Website Description. Then I included a short explanation about how the product description had a larger quantity than I actually received. Click continue.
5.) Select method of refund – You can opt for Amazon gift card or credit via the payment method you used. Click continue.
6.) Select mailing method. Mine only showed me one option – United States Postal Service, works for me! Click continue.
7.) Print the mailing label! You’ll hand write your return address. Tape it to the box (cover old labels). Then give it to your mail carrier or drop it off at the Post Office. No return postage required!
8.) Returns should appear on your account within 2 days of Amazon receiving it back. You’ll receive an email telling you it’s been issued!
It’s very rare that I have had to return items to Amazon – in fact this is the FIRST time the item quantity did not match what I purchased. Remember to occasionally check Your Account —> Your Subscribe & Save Items, to make sure that you know what’s expected to ship. You can cancel any Subscribe & Save items at anytime without charge. I’m so grateful that they allow us to return items FREE of charge, makes it so easy.

Mine hasn’t come yet, I was trying to figure out if I could cancel it while it was still in the shipping process so it won’t be sent to my house.

Yes I to ordered that deal and was shocked when I only got 80 diapers instead of the 300 it was listed at. Returned mine too with no problems. They are good about that.
