I don’t know but I’m thinking isolated incident. I have never had it take both off one product. In fact, they are quite clear that you can’t do that. However, if one was a store coupon and one was a manufacturers, you can combine them.

Thanks!
No they were both ecoupons, so of course I had no control over it. I didn’t even know it happened till I was reviewing my receipt at home. I thought it must have been a fluke because I did notice the rules said if you tried to use a paper mf and an ecoupon it would take the highest value of the two(since ecoupons are mf). Hmm very strange, well no complaint really, I got it for 24cents. I just didn’t know if I was miss reading something in the rules.
24cents for anything here in Alaska is a GREAT deal.
Well for my very first transaction I saved 52%!!(Well that includes the fluke) but still pretty good for a big time coupon virgin.

Newbie Here!! I have a question about Safeway and ecoupons.
I went to the store today, I purchased Degree for men. I had two ecoupons: Degree save 2.50 on any one degree deodorant and Degree save .75 on any one degree Men or women antiperspirant and deodorant.
I assumed the system would use the higher of the two. Here this is what my receipt shows:
Degree A/P Deod .24
RegPrice 3.49
J4U Mfr eCpn 3.25-
So I got it for .24, which is great, but why did it use both ecoupons? Is this the way it works or is this an isolated incident. Like I said Newbie here! Just wondering! Thanks!!
