I guess Safeway is jumping on the daily deal bandwagon! TODAY, December 12 it looks like the daily deal is Safeway spiral sliced half ham (bone-in) is only $0.99 cents a pound. This is with a minimum purchase of $20 (usually that’s before coupons) and it’s limit one, while supplies last. THIS IS FOR MY ZIPCODE, and I’m not sure if this is the same daily deal everywhere, so check your local Safeway’s daily deal here.
Also included in the ad are the next three daily deals (for my area):
From what I can tell on the online ad – these don’t require a minimum purchase.
- MONDAY – Safeway 5lb all purpose flour – $0.59 cents, limit 2
I wonder if you could use the $0.50/1 coupon in the Safeway Thanksgiving Coupon booklet – that would be $0.09 cents! It doesn’t look the like the daily deal is a coupon, but rather an in-store promotion, so I don’t know why you wouldn’t be able to use a store coupon on top of it. But I won’t be able to confirm this until Monday! Sorry to get you excited for nothing, I thought the coupon was for flour, it’s for sugar and it’s the wrong size. Two strikes for me – sorry! Must need more coffee this morning.
- TUESDAY – Safeway 11-12 oz baking chips – $0.99 cents, limit 3
I wonder if you could use the $0.50/1 coupon in the Safeway Thanksgiving Coupon booklet – that would be $0.49 cents!!! - WEDNESDAY – Safeway 42 oz quick oats – $0.99 cents each, limit 2
This looks like a recipe for cheap oatmeal cookies! Now keep in mind, Safeway is smart – they are getting you in the door everyday – to get ONE super good deal. You have to consider the time, travel costs and other purchases you might make that will maybe make this not such a good deal. Check your local Safeway’s daily deal here, they might be different than mine.
TODAY, Sunday November 12 is the LAST day to get FREE Nescafe Taster’s Choice coffee that I told you about earlier this week – the manufacturer coupons for this deal expire today.
If you’re looking for good deals on beef, chicken or seafood, check out the incredible deals on Safeway home delivery right now. I have had tons of readers who have scored more than $50 in meat for under $12 (some for under $9) – delivered to their home!

Well here in Alaska it was 1.49 a lb but I still purchased one and saved over 19.00!
