I did the Arm & Hammer toothpaste deal when you buy 3 you get 3 dollars off instantly. Here’s what I did :
3 Arm & Hammer peroxide 1.49×3= 4.47
3 Arm & Hammer Total Care 1.49×3= 4.47
Sub Total 8.94
-3.00 off instantly
-3.00 (got this twice because bought 2 increments of 3)
Total 2.94 + .28 tax= 3.22 (not bad price but it gets better)
-1.00 mfc
-1.00 mfc
-.75 mfc
Total OOP 47 cents for 6 tubes Woo Hoooo!!

Wouldn’t it be better if you did a transaction of 3, instead of 6? You could use three $0.75/1 q’s and your total with tax would be negative!
Jean H says
I was trying not to draw too much attention to myself with having a negative balance as I had a friend who tried that and her Safeway store refused the sale saying it would constitute coupon fraud (???)…so I figured 47 cents was a small price to pay for 6 tubes of toothpaste which comes out to less than 8 cents a tube
