The invoice that you see online is not your FINAL invoice, it will not show your BOGO savings. The reason for this is because they have to weigh out the meat to calculate the buy one, get one free savings. So your invoice online will be higher than your final invoice (if you buy BOGO items) because the FREE items aren’t deducted until delivery.

I ordered 9 pounds of Ground beef, 2 packages of Center Cut Bacon, 2 boxes of Oatmeal, and 1 case of water. It was delivered to my door in less than 24 hours and I paid $11.13. After I get my rebate from shopathome.com I will have paid a grand total of $2.13! Yippee!!!
Von says
I didn’t this in time but wish I had: go through Ebates to earn $5 back there in addition to the discount codes.
Heather says
Thanks Von. If you shopped through the link in my post – you are supporting my site – so thank you!

I did this but it didn’t quite work out the way I had hoped. We really love crab so I scenario #1. Maybe I goofed it up. When I placed the order, the crab loaded to the cart as per each, not per lb. So I ended up with 6 crabs weighing a couple of pounds each. My total was $27 after codes and B1G1. Still a good deal because I only paid about $2 a lb but not the $12 I was expecting.
Meghan says
My total is 56.04. When I go to enter the CJSAVINGS code it says that it is not valid for current basket size. Anyone else have this problem?! Help!
Amanda says
Go to ebates first and get another $5 back!!!

So the REFRESH24 doesn’t work with the other discounts in any combination that I tried…that’s ok, though, b/c I don’t need water. My total is going to be more than the scenarios above, b/c the ground beef is 15%…so my total is $24.00 for 13lbs of meat-6 of hamburger and 7 of roasts….we just need meat around here, and with the $15.00 off and free delivery, I think it’s a good enough deal. Though I usually don’t pay that much for hamburger, I do pay more for roasts, so I’m pleased. thanks for the opportunity!
Monica says
Is the SHARE15 or REFRESHE24 available for people who have already done their first delivery before? Without the fifteen dollars off, do you think this is a pretty good deal for meat anyways? It seems like it is but before couponing, I had never paid much attention to the prices of meat! Thanks in advance!
Jessamyn says
If you are a first time delivery customer use the code EASY7 and you will not even pay the delivery charge. You can combine the the CJSAVINGS and EASY7 code on the same order. The EASY7 only applies if this is your first time using Safeway Delivery. I just purchased 8LBS of Dungeness Crab and my final bill will be about $23.
Melissa says

Tried using the code REFRESHE24 with CJSAVINGS and it says Promotion Code invalid for use with other offers.

Yay, thanks so much for this post! I’m so excited to try this out and expect my 2 lbs of crab, 8 lbs of beef, 2 packs of bacon and dozen eggs to be only $11.43 delivered. AWESOME!
Mimi says
I ordered 12 lbs of beef and chicken for the freezer and expect my total to be less than $12. That is $1 a pound, I LOVE it! Thank you for this post. I am looking forward to the delivery on Saturday.
Carol says
I just went to purchase the items (2 ground beef, 2 chuck roast (both BOGO) and some apples) and with my discount, the total came to just over $50…will the total change when they deliver or did I do it wrong? Thanks!
Heather says
Carol did you enter your promo code CJSAVINGS? The FREE items will come off when they deliver, so you won’t be charge that much.
Carol says
I did add the promo code but the total still said $50ish.
Heather says
