No smartphone? No problem. As long as you can send and receive texts on your mobile phone, you can get mobile coupons from Target. After you get the text from Target, type in the unique URL (web address) in your internet browser on your computer. Print out the coupons, complete with your unique barcode at the top, and have the cashier scan at checkout. If you’d like to start receiving other Target mobile coupons, text OFFERS to 827438.

I got the text message with the coupon. Checked it at home, loaded just fine. I am standing in the Lacey Washington Target right now, and the coupon says it is unavailable right now. Plus the Cartwheel app keeps locking up my phone. That kind of thing frustrates the heck out of me. I’m probably go to buy one third of what I had previously planned.

How soon after texting UPANDUP do you receive the coupon? I’m heading to Target now to get the deal 🙂 Thanks for posting!
Anne says
Were you able to do the deal Ali? I get the coupons within a minute of texting usually, although I heard people had problems on Saturday with Target’s mobile coupons.
Sarah H says
Do you HAVE to print or will Target scan coupons on smartphones?
Beth says
I’ve had no problems scanning coupons on my phone at my Target.
Anne says
Thanks for weighing in, Beth. The printing option we list above is for those of us with dumb phones 🙂
Anne says
No, Sarah, you don’t have to print. If you have a Smartphone, the cashier will scan that.

Thank, ladies!
