Target Hungry Hungry Hippos Deal
Target released a new 50% off Hungry Hungry Hippos Cartwheel offer, valid today only, that makes for an excellent deal when stacked with a printable coupon. There are quite a few reports that his game is priced at $19.99, though some people are finding it for less. Here’s how you can pick up Hungry Hungry Hippos for just $5 in store:
Hungry Hungry Hippos – $19.99
50% off Hungry Hungry Hippos Target Cartwheel, valid 3/20 only
Stack with $5/1 Hungry Hungry Hippos or Elefun Game
Final price: $4.99

(Thanks, Hip2Save!)
I used the manufacturer coupon and then Cartwheel. I got it for $5:06 including tax. The store only had one left. Happy in Cheyenne, WY
Shelley – I’m glad you were able to get in on the deal!
Target in Kennewick, Wa does not have any ;-(
oh that’s a bummer! I’m sorry your store didn’t have any in stock.
If you price match the 12.99 price online at target.com then it will only be $1.50!
Cartwheel can’t be used with a price match although some stores have been known to allow it.
Wouldn’t it actually be $7.49 since you have to deduct the manufacturer coupon prior to the cartwheel being applied? It’s still a good deal though.
Melissa – good question. As far as I know the order is Target store coupons, Cartwheel offers and then manufacturer coupons although I can’t find anything in their policy to support that.
My store does cartwheel coupons last. I did this deal this morning and even though I gave my $5.00 coupon first, then 50% off cartwheel last, the cartwheel discount still came off the original price.
Good to know! Thank you!!

It explains how Cartwheel is calculated with coupons.
Only a Target coupon affects the price for Cartwheel. If there was a $5 off Target coupon, then the game would be $7.49. Since it is a manufacturers coupon, Cartwheel applies to the regular price and then the coupon is applied. $4.99 is the correct price for this scenario. Hope that helps!
