If you heard about this site from KOMO 4 News, welcome! There has been a lot of BUZZ about couponing with the new TLC Show Extreme Couponing. If you want to learn how to save big with coupons, this is the place to be!
Now I don’t advocate buying 1,000 tubes of toothpaste or 1,200 boxes of cereal, but I DO advocate shopping smart, snipping coupons, shopping sales and I believe ANYONE can save with coupons. Whether you have five minutes a week or five hours a week – you can save big and I’d like to help you.
Shop the sales at your local grocery store – Every week I go through the NW grocery ads and calculate the best deals at each grocery store. If coupons are available, I tell you where to find them, or print them, to match-up with the sale.
Take a coupon class – I recommend taking a class to get a BIG picture of couponing and learn the nitty gritty details to save like the pros. I offer coupon classes here in the Puget Sound area, my next class with openings is June 21 in Tacoma.
I’d love to teach a class in your area but I need a FREE location, open to the public that could seat at least 100 people. The class can be set-up to be a fundraiser for your organization or church. Please contact me if you have a space that is FREE, open to the public and can seat at least 100 people.

Tools
- Coupon database – Looking for a coupon for a specific item? Search the database!
- Costco price database – Back in January I documented nearly 400 prices at my local Costco and broken them down to per unit price. This is a good baseline for knowing if a price you find at a store is a decent price.
Print some coupons!
Subscribe to the paper – Nearly 80% of all manufacturer coupons come in the Sunday newspaper. The best paper in the Puget Sound (for amount of coupons) is the Tacoma News Tribune. If you live in the delivery area for the Tacoma News Tribune, check out the awesome deal they are offering Queen Bee couponers – get multiple copies of the Sunday paper delivered for only $1. I recommend getting one paper for each person in your family. I personally get FIVE Sunday Tacoma News Tribunes delivered for $5 a week. That means this week I spent $5 on papers and have $1565 worth of coupons. Now of course I won’t use all of those coupons, but even if I used a portion of them, my papers still pay for themselves. The Seattle Times is good too, but it does not include the Red Plum insert, which is a big chunk of the weekly available coupons.
I look forward to helping you save money!
