I received an e-mail from Winco with a list of Thanksgiving items that they guarantee to sell less than competing grocery store chains. You don’t even have to do any work, each Winco store will compare the other local grocery store chain prices and make sure their prices are lower (click flier above to see larger version). This is valid through Thanksgiving.
Make sure and use coupons to save even more on these products! As far as the local Lacey, Washington Winco store, I’ve been getting e-mails/comments from readers who say the cashiers aren’t being consistent taking coupons. Some people have been able use printables, others have been told no, and some weren’t even able to use a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon. So I asked the Winco marketing rep about this and he says he’s going to talk to the local manager. Hopefully this means they’ll start being consistent.Ā The Winco coupon policy is here, so check it out.
Also, you can check out the deals that I found during my last Winco shopping trip.

I read in a post by another coupon maven that you’d have to have the other stores’ ads in hand for WinCo to beat the price. I hope you’re right & we don’t, but is there a way we can find out for sure?

Great question. I asked the Winco rep and this is his reply, “Each store will check those items at competitors and make sure we have the lowest prices on the items listed. If your readers notice that one of those items is not, just bring the ad we’ll take care of it. It should be noted that this only applies to other grocery chains. Thanks again.”
So you should haven’t to worry about bringing in competitors ads, unless for some reason it’s not priced lower at Winco and then they will need the ad to verify.

And I should emphasize – it’s grocery store chains, so ads from say, Target, I’m guessing wouldn’t apply.
