I love Thanksgiving recipes – good ole home cooking. . .so I thought I’d share my favorite Thanksgiving recipes that I’ve posted in the past. What are your favorite Thanksgiving meal items?
If you’re going to brine a turkey, here is my post on how to brine a turkey.
And if you prefer ham (or have both!), this recipe for a Crockpot Spiral Ham could not get any easier!
And I love mashed potatoes – and this Crockpot Mashed Potato recipe saves you from leaning over a pot of boiling water in a hot kitchen while you’re juggling a million other things.
But if you prefer baked over mashed, this Slow Cooker Baked Potatoes recipe is also a cinch (and you could probably sub sweet potatoes, too!)
We make this Roasted Root Vegetables on most holidays – especially on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We love the simple nature of the recipe but the flavor is amazing.
Or this side dish of Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Red Onions. . .
Or this recipe makes a great side dish, Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Shallots
And my mother-in-law usually serves this delicious Cheesy Potato Casserole at holiday (family) dinners – it’s a hit with the kids and the adults and is an easy side dish!
And my Grandma’s roll recipe is a staple in our house. So easy and I think it’s the best roll recipe ever. But I’m a little partial.
And easy and delicious dessert are these No Bake Mini Pumpkin Cheesecakes – I would recommend making these ahead and then putting the whipped cream on right before serving.
And for that leftover turkey, make up a batch of this Turkey Noodle Soup. Yum!
You can sub the turkey for the chicken in this Slow Cooker Chicken & Dumpling soup recipe to use up your leftover turkey!
Or. . . for leftover mashed potatoes and turkey, this Turkey Chowder uses both ingredients and is delicious!
What are your favorite Thanksgiving recipes!?! Leave a comment and let me know!
